Oladipo’s Return Recapped

First Half:

Stat-line: 4pts, 3ast, 1reb

It doesn’t look like Victor has lost a step at all. He was blowing right past defenders, and Victor wasn’t forcing anything offensively, but looking to get more people involved. After watching just a half, it is very obvious that the Oladipo and Sabonis Pick-n-Roll is going to be the next level to this offense. With Victor and Sabonis both being such willing passers it results in a lot of wide open shots for the Pacers. Let’s see what the second half brings.

Second Half:

Stat-line: 5pts, 1ast, 1reb

Vic came up clutch once again. OH BABY, that got me excited for what the season has the potential to be. Vic struggled shooting the ball and that’s fine. Oladipo’s play-making ability showed through a lot. I expect that Victor will get back to himself, because only playing 5 minutes at a time is tough for getting into a rhythm. We know one thing for sure Victor Oladipo still has the clutch gene. Welcome Back Vic, we all missed you.

Sidenote:

Turner didn’t play because of “illness” and the trade deadline is next week. If Turner doesn’t play Saturday, then keep an eye out for Turner to be moved. Aaron Holiday’s minutes are 100% gone. Aaron Holiday and Turner could be a great package together.
